The Bank is looking for high caliber, experienced, self-motivated, and well-groomed professional for the following position in its Information Technology Division: Division: Information Technology Grade Range: VP to SVP1 Reporting To:  Divisional Head Software Location: Lahore / Karachi   Job Summary:  Responsible for ensuring timely availability of quality MIS at the enterprise level and establish transparency in financial and non-financial reporting for an internal and external audience. Ensures the smooth functioning of business intelligence applications. Enhances the decision-making capabilities of the organization through advanced analytics. Works in close coordination with the relevant stakeholders to fulfill regulatory, statutory, and business data requirements. Plays a pivotal role in the internal and external audit activities of the organization. Major Duties & Responsibilities to perform the Role:   · Involved in the development and implementation of enterprise-wide data governance framework and its regular alignment/update with organizational vision.         –  Identification of data set owners         –  Standardization of data definitions          – Alignment of policies, procedures and system functionality to ensure data integrity          –  Static and Metadata configuration as per defined rules          – Data cleansing from time-to-time to ensure alignment   · Development of data management roadmap and provide feedback to the senior management about the on-going BI development and administrative activities. · Regularly interact with respective stakeholders to ensure MIS / data needs are being fulfilled as per functional requirements. Guide team about development and implementation of new MIS requirements /change requests while ensuring all the reports/MIS’s are timely developed and available to the end-users. · Oversee day-to-day tactical operations of the DWH / BI setup. Provide guidelines to the senior managers/unit heads in carrying out daily operational activities · Ensure daily, weekly fortnightly and monthly reporting/dashboards for internal or external requirements as per agreed upon frequencies. · Handling enterprise-wide data / MIS requirements of external and internal auditors during inspection periods and addressing MIS related matters/remarks from inspection reports. ·  Enhance data analytics capabilities to ensure business productivity, awareness, accountability and capacity of human resources to enable achievement of business / financial objectives as well as digital transformation as per organizational vision. · Recommend strategies for arranging of missing/unavailable/unstructured data necessary for decision making. · Vendor engagement and vendor management for DWH / BI activities with respect to third-party applications/services and search for new technologies/setups.  · Team management and training of resources. . Any special project assigned by higher management   Job Specifications: Relevant Experience: 07 Years Experience Nature: Banking / IT Company with good knowledge of banking systems and regulations. Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate from an HEC recognized University/ Foreign University / Master’s Degree. Preferably in IT/CS. Candidates having relevant international certifications will have added advantage. Age: Up to 55 years as of April 04, 2021   Knowledge: • Experience in data modeling for different projects, designing and proposing state-of-the-art analytical solutions. • Expedient understanding of core banking systems, other core business applications and financial suites.  • Experience in the implementation of business intelligence tools and applications.  • Good understanding of data normalization, data preparation and performance tuning for the DWH/BI environments. • Working knowledge of SQL & PL/SQL.  • Experience in team management having good communication skills to interact with all the stakeholders. Ability to produce quality work within narrow time frames and simultaneously manage several projects.    Skills:  Having work experience in different organizations in a lead capacity, have a fair knowledge of banking systems and a good understanding of banking regulations and financial reporting standards with an overall experience of 7 years.
